- Developed and validated a dynamic accelerated solvent extraction (DASE) method for determining oil, water, and solids content in oil sands ore samples
- Operated ASE 350 pressurised fluid extraction system; optimised solvent, temperature, pressure, and cycle parameters for heterogeneous sample matrices
- Performed gravimetric analysis, Karl Fischer titration, and Dean–Stark comparison studies to benchmark DASE performance against industry standards
- Authored and published first-author manuscript in The Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering (September 2025), under the mentorship of Matthew Ripmeester
